Chapter 1.4 Is this the beginning of the end?

The stress of fatherhood was getting to J, he was conflicted between being a good father and trying to fulfill his aspiration of catching 20 fish,, while out fishing at the local pond, he discussed his desire to catch 20 different fish and how he was having trouble locating a few of them with a townie.The townie looked around to make sure no one else was listening and whispered directions to get to a secret fishing spot..

The place was spectacular, with trees of pink that looked magical – something out fantasy.It was amazing with the pink trees, the waterfall and the small pond he could fish in. The only thing that would have made his trip better was to be sharing this moment with Juniper. wishing they could have had their wedding here. J caught numerous amount of large fish that were redeemable for $2000 each which would help to their ‘build a house fun’

His hunger winning a war, he returned home, walking half asleep past the child that was about to age up. Not even stopping to wish her a happy birthday. They weren’t bad parents, they were just trying to make sure they didn’t have to sleep outside.

Ariel had blonde hair and build like her mother, her clothes choice weren’t -that- bad either.

They were surprised that she turned out so well and congratulated each other in the kitchen.Trying to impress her parents Ariel decided to learn to fish, and to do her homework. Hoping the A grade marks will make her parents spend a little time with her.

Juniper had a wish to get out of the house and be active, the lack of exercise, making her tense., Being heavily pregnant she wasn’t able to do her normal routine of sit ups and push ups so she went for a ‘jog’, which really was a leisurely walk around the neighbourhood.

Juniper’s walk was pretty uneventful, she ran into a few of her neighbours, who stopped her to compliment her on how the house was progressing. Juniper returned home to Ariel with open arms in the drive way, curious as to what the child wants.

Ariel wrapped her arms around Junipers neck tightly, hugging into her gently, it was then that Juniper realised what Ariel wanted.

Juniper: Oh it was a hug. Hugs are great.

The contractions started earlier that day, so  the siblings were left at home bonding with each other as they told Drago some stories about a princess and prince who go on an adventure. Ariel enjoyed spending time with Alexander,especially since he understood the madness of their family.

They returned home in the middle of the night with a crying baby girl, named Anaxia.

As Alexander was older, the idea of another sibling was great, he loved being an older brother, Ariel on the other was not welcoming to the new baby girl, feeling replaced.

A couple of days went past, and she was late again. Judging by the look on their faces, we know what is happening again. This time J looked scared wondering how they are going to manage, considering their moods are already so low.

The household was feeling female dominated so Alexander tried begging his mum to have a baby boy.

Alexander: Please mummy, please have a baby boy I would love to have a baby brother!

Juniper: Im sorry honey, it doesn’t work that way.

Juniper then proceeded to tell J a really intense story about the childbirth.

Juniper: Well?? What do you think? It sounds pretty painful right? That much mean  I am pretty great… right? After having 3 children?

J couldn’t do anything but agree, losing his appetite for lunch, surprised that she went into so much detail, feeling guilty that he didn’t give her more support.

Ariel tried to shoosh Anaxia as her parents had finally got to sleep, wishing there was more she could do to help

Ariel: sssh, don’t wake them… if you let them have a good night sleep they will have more time for us.

To get her parents attention, Ariel asked for her dads help with her homework. Juniper was too busy dancing in the background. 

Anaxia’s birthday was also forgotten about.. it wouldn’t be a Cruelty family birthday if it was forgotten.

The two sisters made amends as they ate breakfast together at the table, whilst listening to their favourite band. 

It was  and summer, a hot uncomfortable heavily pregnant summer for Juniper. She tried to keep herself cool by walking around in her underwear

Anaxia: *sigh* why is my mum in her underwear?

Juniper: *quivering her bottom lip* please don’t make fun of me.

Drago was turning out to be a wise investment, as another Cruelty child was spending more of their time socialising with the giant Dinosaur. Anaxia YELLED at poor Drago, Anaxia felt guilty and decided to hug him tightly

In the middle of dancing with J, the baby pushed down on her bladder, causing her to relieve herself in the middle of the dining room.

Once again instead of being a supportive husband  – J immediately pointed his finger at her and made her feel bad, Juniper was ignoring J, more interested in getting clean.

J just stood like a stunned mallet, pointing at the puddle of pee on the floor, hoping it will clean itself.

After she cried out her embarrassment, Juniper and J disappeared for a few hours. They had brought home something special, that upset 2 of their children.

Ariel: Mr Drago, you are very lucky I don’t take my frustrations out on you!  How could they do this to me again!?

Anaxia: Seriously? I have enough trouble getting their attention as it is!

Triplets. J and Juniper now had their handful with 3 beautiful bundles of pure torture. Aaron, Abe and Abby. At this point, they have decided not to have any more kids, however with 3 kids and 3 babies, how will they survive?

This is how the house is progressing… J’s Mansion is progressing nicely.
